Mirror an iPhone to an LG TV
LG smart TVs from 2019 and newer support AirPlay 2, so your iPhone can mirror to them directly.
This guide uses the mirroring built into your phone. Phone browsers cannot share the screen, so MHL Mirroring is not needed here.
Step by step
Check AirPlay on the TV
Press Home on the remote, open the Home Dashboard and make sure AirPlay is turned on.
Open Control Center
Swipe down from the top-right corner of the iPhone.
Choose the LG TV
Tap Screen Mirroring and pick your LG TV from the list.
Type the code
Enter the code the TV shows on the iPhone the first time you connect.
If it does not work
- TV not found: restart the TV and check both are on the same Wi-Fi network.
- Older LG TV: without AirPlay, mirror from a computer with MHL Mirroring instead.
