Mirror a Chromebook to a TV
Chromebooks already have everything the sender needs: Chrome. Open the receiver on the TV and share your Chromebook screen with a 6-digit code.
Step by step
Open the receiver on the TV
In the TV browser, go to /receiver and note the 6-digit code.
Open the sender in Chrome
On the Chromebook go to /sender, choose your TV type and enter the code.
Connect
Keep Desktop screen as the source and press Connect.
Pick the screen
In the ChromeOS dialog choose Entire Screen (or one window or tab) and press Share.
Done
The Chromebook appears on the TV. Press the stop button in the Chrome bar to end.
If it does not work
- No dialog after Connect: screen capture is blocked by policy on this Chromebook.
- Laggy picture: use 720p, and keep the Chromebook close to the router.
- Sound missing: choose a Chrome tab and tick "Also share tab audio".
Mirror straight from your browser
Try MHL Mirroring on your own screens
